Cancer!!!
I always wondered what it would be like to know someone with cancer! I now know that a close friend of mine has cancer and the prognosis may not be good. It is hard to accept even though he is not related He is still like family and it is hard to deal. I feel that as long as there are prayers he will be okay. I pray everyday that he will be okay and that God will take care of him. I know that it is going to be okay. I hope that anyone that reads this will send out their prayers too.

Nicole, I am sorry to hear about your friend. I am a man of faith and I will make sure that I pray and leave it in the hands of the Lord.
ReplyDeleteThis verse stood out to me when I read your post:
21 Then Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. 22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it." - Matthew 21:21-22 (Life Application Study Bible-New Living Translation)
May GOD bless you and with faith nothing is impossible. Take care and you and your friend will definitely be in my prayers.
Dennis,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your prayers. We appreciate them and I will keep the faith. He goes to the docto again tomorrow so we will find out what the course of action that will be taken. Thanks again!
Nicole I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I have had many people, especially loved ones close to me who have had cancer. My aunt had leukemia about 15 years ago and she had a bone marrow transplant. She is in remission and has been doing wonderful. Never give up hope and things will work out for the best.
ReplyDeleteNicole,
ReplyDeleteWhen I was about 8 years old, I lost one of my closest friends to cancer, April was only 9. Stay positive and just be there for him. You'll make it through. Remember, Hope is the source of our greatest strength.
I will keep you and your friend in my prayers. My friend who is like a second mom had stage 4 overian about 6 years ago. With a lot of prayers and positive energy they got it all and she is still ok today. So stay positive.
